        Driver Installation for Windows NT 3.51/4.0
        ===========================================

   The directory structure provided on this driver diskette has been setup
   for automatic OEM installation. Please follow the guidelines in the
   Microsoft Windows NT User's Guide for more details to install the
   NDIS 3.0 driver from this driver diskette.

   To install the NDIS 3.0 driver, simply follow the instructions given
   below to navigate through the menu driven functions in Windows NT.

   1. Insert this driver diskette into the system's floppy drive.

   2. From th Control Panel in the Windows NT Main window, double click on
      the "Network" icon to install the ET32/Px Series PCI Ethernet Adapter.

   3. In the Network Settings dialog box, choose "Add Adapter".

   4. In the "Add Network Adapter" dialog box, pull the adapter list menu
      and select "<Other> Requires disk from manufacturer" from the list.

   5. Select "Continue" button.

   6. In the next window, specify the drive and path for the adapter driver.
      The Windows NT driver files for the adapter resides in the \WINNT
      directory. So, for example, enter:

        A:\WINNT

   7. Then, select the "KTI ET32/Px Series PCI Ethernet Adapter".

   8. Select "OK" button.

   9. Select "OK" button.

   10. Select "OK" button on the "Network Settings" window.

   11. Follow any remaining instruction from Windows NT to reboot your
       system, if required.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
