NDIS Driver for Windows for WorkGroup 3.11                

Introduction:
=============
  This document shows you how to install Windows for Workgroup 3.11 NDIS
  driver.

  Location of Driver:     \WFW311\DLKRTS.DOS

Contents of the Subdirectory:
=============================
    OEMSETUP.INF        The setup information file for WFW311.
    DLKRTS.DOS       The enhanced mode NDIS2 driver.

Installation:
=============
  Before starting with the installation process, make sure that the adapter
  is properly installed and configured.

  Setup Procedure:
  ----------------
    1) Start the Windows for Workgroup 3.11.
    2) Select the "Windows Setup" icon in the Main Group.
    3) Select the "Options" item.
    4) Select the "Change Network Settings.." item.
    5) Select the "Drivers" button.
    6) Select the "Add Adapter.." button.
    7) Select "Unlisted or Updated Network Adapter"
    8) Insert the adapter driver disk with OEMSETUP.INF and DLKRTS.DOS and
       specify the path A:\WFW311.
    9) Press <Enter> to select "D-Link DFE-538TX 10/100 Adapter".
   10) Click "Setup..." if you want to modify the advanced features.
   11) Close each windows and restart the computer.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
