The driver (LAP32.SYS) contained in the directory WIN95 is for
the following F=ma adapter:

        F=ma LAP-32 10/100 CardBus Fast Ethernet PC Card

The driver (LAP32.SYS) conforms to the Network Driver Interface
Specification (NDIS) 4.0, and is used with Microsoft Windows 95 OSR2.

(A) Installing NDIS4 Miniport driver in Microsoft Windows 95 OSR2

    1. Plug F=ma LAP-32 10/100 CardBus Fast Ethernet Card into one of
       the sockets of your notebool.
    2. Turn the power ON then boot into Windows 95.
    3. Windows 95 will prompt with "PCI Ethernet Controller" in
       the "New Hardware Found" dialog box and "Update Device Driver
       Wizard" dialog box.
    4. Insert the F=ma LAP-32 10/100 CardBus Fast Ethernet Card Driver
       Diskette in your floppy drive.
    5. Click the "Next >" button in "Update Device Driver Wizard"
       dialog box.
    6. Windows 95 will prompt with "F=ma LAP-32 10/100 CardBus Fast
       Ethernet PC Card" in the "Update Device Driver Wizard" dialog
       box.
    7. Click the "Finish" button in the "Update Device Driver Wizard"
       dialog box.
    8. Enter the full pathname A:\WIN95 of the NETLAP.INF file, then
       click the OK button in the "Copying Files..." dialog box.
    9. Follow the screen's prompt to insert the "Windows 95 CD-ROM"
       and click the OK button in the "Insert Disk" dialog box.
   10. Otherwise enter the full pathname of the "Windows 95 CD-ROM"
       installation files in "Copying Files..." dialog box,
       and then click the OK button.
   11. Windows 95 will copy the driver (LAP32.SYS) from A:\WIN95
       to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory and the NETLAP.INF file from
       A:\WIN95 to C:\WINDOWS\INF directory.
   12. Remove the F=ma LAP-32 10/100 CardBus Driver Diskette from your
       floppy drive.
   13. Restart your computer to initialize the network function.

       NOTICE!! C:\WINDOWS is the directory where your Windows 95 OSR2
                O.S. is located.



(C) Configuring NDIS4 Miniport driver in Microsoft Windows 95 (OSR2)

    1. Click the "My Computer" icon in the Main Program Group.
    2. Click the "Control Panel" icon in the My Computer window.
    3. Click the "Network" icon in the Control Panel window.
    4. Select the "F=ma LAP-32 10/100 CardBus Fast Ethernet PC Card"
       item from the "Network" dialog box, and then click the "Properties"
       button.
    5. Click the "Advanced" button in the "F=ma LAP-32 10/100 CardBus Fast
       Ethernet PC Card Properties" dialog box.
    6. Select the Line Speed value (Auto,100full,100half,10full,10half
        from the "Value" item, and then click the OK button in the
       "F=ma LAP-32 10/100 CardBus Fast Ethernet PC Card Properties" dialog
       box.
    7. Click the OK button in the "Network" dialog box.
    8. Restart your computer to initialize the new configuration.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
