All files should be installed into the same directory.


Files:  macdmint.exe, mdm.msg, macdmi.mif

macdmint.exe
 -This is the IBM LAN Adapter component instrumentation.
 -It is an NT service with service name NICCI.
 -This service should not be started until AFTER the DMI
  service provider.
 -macdmint.exe looks for dmiapi32.dll, first in %WIN32DMIPATH%\bin
  then in the path.
 (Aside: for debug purposes, macdmint.exe can be run from the command
  line by invoking it with a /d command line parameter:
  macdmint /d)

mdm.msg
 -This is the message file for macdint.exe.

macdmi.mif
 -This is the MIF for macdmint.exe.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
