(1) Set CompanyName to your company name

(2) Set ProductName to your product name
    Set the same ProductName string in usbcone.inf
    Set the same ProductName string in \conexant\InstallShieldUsbcone.inf

    This ProductName is used in InstallShield installation and various registry settings and will be picked up
    by cnxtcam.ds (TWAIN data source)

(3) Set TitleMain for InstallShield splash screen's title text.

(4) Set TitleCaptionBar for InstallShield splash screen's caption text.

(5) Change USBCam.bmp to your logo.

(1) Set the same ProductName string as setup.ini in usbcone.inf

usbcone.inf is used by plug&play. It generates the same "Uninstall" registry entry as InstallShield so that
if user runs InstallShield installation again after plug&play installation the same entry will be overwritten
by InstallShield.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
