Installation

Requirements
------------
- Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 3 or higher installed
- PC with a Pentium III or Pentium II processor
- 32MB of RAM or more Suggested


Fresh Installation / Upgrade Existing Drivers
---------------------------------------------

 1) Click Start, Settings then Control Panel.
 2) Double-click the Display icon and select the Settings tab.
 3) Click the Display Type button, then click the Change button.
 4) Select the Have Disk button and type c:\voodoo3 in the space provided.
 5) 16MB 3dfx Voodoo3 3000D AGP appears, click the OK button.
 6) A Third-party Drivers window appears, click the Yes button--files will
    be copied.
 7) An Installing Driver window appears, click OK.
 8) Click the Close button, then click the Test button.  After the test,
    click the Yes button if you saw the test screen, then click the Close 
    button.
 9) Select the Yes button to reboot the computer.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
