Netware 4.11 Server 32-Bit ODI Driver Installation ===================================================== 1. Turn OFF your PC machine. 2. Plug the DM9102 PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter into the PCI slot of PC machine. 3. Reboot your PC machine to DOS prompt. 4. Copy the NBI.NLM, MSM.NLM, ETHERTSM.NLM files from the Driver diskette to Netware directory. C:\NWSERVER> COPY A:\NW50\NW4X\*.NLM . 5. Startup your Netware 4.11 Server. 6. Load updated NBI, MSM, ETHERTSM modules on Netware console. NW411: LOAD C:NBI.NLM NW411: LOAD C:MSM.NLM NW411: LOAD C:ETHERTSM.NLM 7. Run "LOAD INSTALL" on Netware console. NW411: LOAD INSTALL 7. Select "Driver options" in the Installation Options. 8. Select "Configure network drivers" in the Driver Options. 9. Select "Select a driver" in the Additional Driver Actions. 10. Press <Insert> key to install an unlisted driver. 11. Press <F3> key to specify a different path. 12. Insert the Driver diskette to the floppy (Drive A) and enter "A:\NW50" to specify a directory path. 13. Select "DAVICOM PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter (DM9102) 32-Bit ODI (SPEC v3.31) MLID" to install. 14. Enter the HIN Slot Number to the Slot field of the driver parameters. 15. Choose the driver optional parameters (Media Mode, Line Speed), if NO value, it will be the default value. Media Mode : the default is AUTODETECT. (AUTODETECT, AUTOFULL, AUTOHALF, 100FULL, 100HALF, 10FULL, 10HALF, 1M) Line Speed : NO default value. (SPEED=10, SPEED=100) 16. Select "Save parameters and load driver" to load DM9PCI driver. 17. Following the screen prompt to complete the driver installation. 18. Login one workstation to the Netware server, and copy the NBI.NLM, MSM.NLM, ETHERTSM.NLM files from the Driver diskette to SYSTEM directory. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
