	DAVICOM DM9PCI Series PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter BeOS Driver
			Installation Guide
1. Install DM9102 BeOS NIC driver
    Under shell's command promt, chage to the directory where the
    "install" shell script reside. execute the "install" shell script.

	$ ./install

2. Configure the netowrk interface

    a. Open the network interface configuration window.
    	Click on Deskbar(BeOS logo) -> Preference -> Network

    b. Configure the "DAVICOM DM9PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter"
	Select the adapter from "Network Intefaces" menu and then
	click the "Setting" button to configure the interface.
	Fill other netork information also.

    c. save and restat networking

3. Restart network after changing media type

    This driver support only startup auto detect media type but not
    run-time dynamic auto detection. So, if you change the media type
    after system startup. Restart neworking from Network Configuration
    window.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
