Installing Multimedia Card with CD-ROM
======================================
ESS1938S:
    <Driver Location>
        Win9x  path:  Sound\Driver\WIN9x
        NT4.0  path:  Sound\Driver\NT40

    <Win9x Installation>
        Step1: Boot from Win9x.
        Step2: When Win9x asks for the ESS1938S (On Board) driver, insert the CD into the CD-ROM device.
        Step3: Enter the Win9x driver path and press 'OK' to continue with the installation.

    <Win9x Application Installation>
        Step1: Insert CD into the CD-ROM device, and change directory to sound\ to run SETUP.EXE.
        Step2: Select Application button from setup menu.

    <NT4.0 Installation>
	Step1: Select MULTIMEDIA from control panel and click on the Devices tab.
	Step2: Press the ADD button. Select Unlisted or Updated Drivers and press OK.
	Step3: Browse and select NT4.0 Driver path.
	Step4: Press OK to continue with the installation.
	Step5: An Audio Setup dialog box will appear. Select the default configuration
               resource and press OK.
	Step6: Click on the Restart Now button.

    <Software Wavetable Synthesizer Installation>
        Step1: Insert CD into the CD-ROM device, and change directory to sound\ to run SETUP.EXE.
        Step2: Select Application button from setup menu.
        Step3: Choose Software Wavetable Synthesizer item from setup menu.

    <Dos Legacy support mode>
        Step1: Insert CD into the CD-ROM device, and change directory to sound\ to run SETUP.EXE.
        Step2: Select Application button from setup menu.
        Step3: Choose Dos Legacy Supprot item from setup menu.
        Step4: If the system reboot under windows98, please select 
               the ESS1938S (On Board) driver form Windows98 instead of ESS1938S (On Board) disc

    <DirectX Installation>
        Step1: Insert CD into the CD-ROM device, and change directory to sound\ to run SETUP.EXE.
        Step2: Select DirectX button from setup menu.

[Limitation]
  
  ESS1938S (On Board) with ESS Solo1(ES1938/ES1941) has zip noise when
  tuning the volume control silder.It will be obviously when the 
  Wave channel Volume is full.That will be improvement at later
  version driver published on our website.
