(A) Install NDIS 3.1 driver in the Windows 95
    The driver named EN1208.SYS is contained in the directory
    WIN95.


    NDIS Driver Installation on Windows 95
    --------------------------------------

    1. Plug Accton's EN1208 PCI Ethernet adapter into one of the PCI
       slots of your PCI platform.

    2. Turn the power on, and boot from Windows 95.

    3. Windows 95 will prompt with PCI Ethernet Controller in New Hardware Found
       dialog box.

    4. Select "Driver from disk provided by hardware manufacturer" from the New
       Hardware Found dialog box, then click the OK button.

    5. Insert the Driver Diskette in your floppy drive.

    6. Enter the driver pathname, i.e. A:\WIN95 (or B:\WIN95), then click the OK
       button in the Install from Disk dialog box.

    7. Select your installed adapter, that is
               Accton EN1208 PCI Ethernet Adapter,
       then click the OK button in Select Device dialog box.

    8. Follow screen instructions to complete the process.

    9. Restart your computer.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
