IMPORTANT:
----------

IF YOU HAVE A SHUTTLE DOS REAL-MODE DRIVER INSTALLED IN
YOUR CONFIG.SYS AND AUTOEXEC.BAT, REMOVE (REM-OUT) THE RELATED
STATEMENTS FROM CONFIG.SYS AND AUTOEXEC.BAT AND REBOOT THE
SYSTEM BEFORE INSTALLING THE WINDOWS 95 DRIVER.


CD-ROM USERS, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO REMOVE "MSCDEX.EXE" FROM AUTOEXEC.BAT
AND RESTART THE COMPUTER BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL WINDOWS 95 DRIVER.


INSTALLING the WINDOWS 95 DRIVER
----------------------------

1. Click on the "Start" button found at the bottom left hand corner 
of the main Screen.

2. From the menu displayed, Click on "Setting" option and then 
click on the "Control Panel" option.

3. Click on the "Add New Hardware" Icon from the Control Panel group.

4. From the Window displayed, click on "Next>" button.

5. Then choose "No" to "Do you want Windows to search your new hardware?"
and click on "Next>" button.

6. Choose "SCSI Controller" from the list of Hardware types displayed and 
double click.

7. Click on "Have disk" button.

8. Insert the driver diskette into the floppy drive or provide the path 
where the driver file is located and click on "OK" button. At this point, 
the Shuttle adapter(s) is displayed. Choose the appropriate adapter type.

9. Click on "Next>" button and then the "Finish" button.

10. The driver is copied to your system, and added to the installed device 
list. This may take few seconds, so standby until the screen changes. 

Clicking on "Finish" icon more than once may result in adding the hardware
more than once, so make sure to avoid this.

This completes the Win 95 driver installation.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
