El software Matrox PowerDesk incluye un controlador de pantalla y
utilidades de pantalla. Con este software, puede sacar el máximo
partido al hardware de gráficos Matrox y acceder a las
características adicionales de Matrox relacionadas con las
pantallas.
Instalación
===========
Para instalar Matrox PowerDesk, inicie el programa "setup"

Notas, problemas y limitaciones

- Instalación en versiones de distintos idiomas de Windows
Si instala el software en un idioma distinto al idioma de su
sistema operativo (por ejemplo, software en inglés en un sistema
japonés), es posible que experimente problemas de presentación
imcompleta de texto y controles de cuadros de diálogo. Esto se
debe a la diferencia en las fuentes del sistema.
- Soporte OpenGL (3D)
Si tiene un producto Matrox nuevo o su software Matrox
le fue suministrado por el fabricante del PC, el controlador
de pantalla Matrox puede no ser totalmente compatible con
OpenGL. Para un controlador de pantalla Matrox con total
compatibilidad con OpenGL, consulte el sitio web de Matrox

- Video playback with DualHead modes
If you have a a DualHead supporting graphics card and you're
using DualHead Multi-Display, Clone, or Zoom mode, digital video
may appear as a solid color on your secondary display. This can
happen if video is played using the hardware-overlay feature of
your Matrox graphics card. Video played using the overlay
feature is generally of higher quality but it can be viewed only
on your main display.
Because only one program at a time can use the overlay feature,
any other program started while the overlay feature is used
won't be able to use the feature. The overlay feature will be
available to the first program to start after the program
currently using the overlay is closed.
For video that normally uses the hardware-overlay feature, you
may be able to view the digital video on your secondary display
by running another instance of the video player or by using a
video player that dynamically supports both hardware-overlay and
non hardware-overlay video playback (such as Microsoft Media
Player 7).

- La paleta colores 15 bitios para Windows 2000/XP
Por usuarios advanzados: Por defecto, la paleta de colores 15
bitios esta indisponible bajo Windows 2000/XP. Si tiene
necesidad de usar esta paleta de colores, la puede volver a ser
disponible añadando dentro la base de registro la valor
"User.Enable15Bpp" y configurar aquella a "1". Si añade esta
valor, añadirla bajor "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" > "SYSTEM" >
"CurrentControlSet" > "Services" > "mgau" o "g200" o "g400" >
"Device0". El tipo de valor es "REG_DWORD".
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
