Trouble shouting ---------------- During testing of the WOL feature of the DFE-530TX.B1, if you discover the following phenomena: 1) In WIN98(SE) or WIN2000, if the user turns the Stand By using the normal procedure, then the card can be remote awakened successfully. 2) If the DFE-530TX.B1 encounters either of the following power-off situations: (a) sudden, abnormal power-down, or (b) PC freezes suddenly, then the WOL function fails. For the second situation, there are two workarounds to re-enable the WOL function: 1. Restart the PC -> The PC will scan the harddisk and file system automatically -> After the OS is rebooted successfully, turn the Stand By using the normal procedure. 2. Restart the PC -> Enter DOS mode immediately -> Use the Setup utility ( please contact with the local D-Link's OBU ) to re-enable the WOL function.
