------------------------------------------------- The MaxFire Programmable G08 installation Guide ------------------------------------------------- (1) The MaxFire Programmable G08 can support the standard Windows default driver. Any user may use MaxFire Programmable G08 without the specific driver. (2) To support the additional functionlality regarding X-axis(Y-axis), 8-Buttons, or keyboard simulation, you are supposed to use the MaxFire Programmable G08 setup diskette to complete installation. If this is the first time you install the MaxFire Programmable G08 product, please take the following steps: <1>.Plug the MaxFire Programmable G08 in the game port. <2>.Running the MaxFire Programmable G08 setup diskette. <3>.After system rebooting, you may need to calibrate the MaxFire Programmable G08 from the <Game Controllers> in the Control Panel. While adding the "Genius MaxFire Programmable G08" driver from the Game Controllers list, DO NOT PRESS ANY BUTTON OF THE MAXFIRE PROGRAMMABLE G08. If there is the "OK" status displayed on the list, you are able to do the calibration as usual. <Note>: You have to follow the installation procedure above to prevent your MaxFire Programmable G08 from the unexpected disaster. If you fail to calibrate the MaxFire Programmable G08, please remember to re-install the MaxFire Programmable G08 driver again.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
