Color Profiles for MINOLTA-QMS magicolor Printers
=====================================

INTRODUCTION
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ICM (Image Color Matching for Windows)/
ICC (International Color Consortium for Macintosh)-compliant profiles for
your printer are provided on the Software Utilities CD-ROM or available
from the Internet at www.minolta-qms.com. Both host and simulation profiles
are provided for your printer.

Host profiles are copied to your workstation and work with
application-specific color management systems, such as that in
Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW 10. Host profiles can also be used
by ICM 1.0 (Windows 95) and ICM 2.0 (Windows XP/Me/2000/98).

Simulation profiles are downloaded to the printer's hard disk and allow
the printer to convert color data received. To use simulation profiles your printer
must have an installed hard disk.

This readme file explains how to download host and simulation profiles.
Consult your printer and application documentation for more information about
color profiles.
