Trident Linear-Addressing Non-Accelerated Driver UC95 1.0B
----------------------------------------------------------
Beta Windows '95 27 July 1995

This driver supports the following Trident chipsets:

        9400CXi VL
        9420DGi VL/PCI
        9440AGi VL

On the above chipsets, the following resolutions and color depths
are supported:

        640x480x256
        800x600x256
        1024x768x256
        640x480x64K
        800x600x64K
        640x480x16.7M

Additionally, the driver is known to work with the 8900C, 8900CL, and 8900D,
and 9000i, though the resolution and color depth attainable will
depend on the DAC and amount of video memory used on your video card. Those
with 8-bit DAC's (which have a limit of 256 colors) should use the "Trident
SuperVGA" driver included with the Microsoft distribution of Windows 95.

To install:

"Settings" page and click on the "Change Display Type" button to change the

page will appear. Click on "Show all devices" and choose "Standard display
type" under "Manufacturers" list and choose "Standard Display Adapter (VGA)"
under "Models". Click on "OK" and perform a shutdown to restart the computer.
Once Windows '95 is restarted, go back into Control Panel and click on
"Display". Click on the "Settings" page and click on "Change Display Type".
Click on "Change" next to Adapter Type. On the "Select Device" page, click
on "Have Disk" button. Insert the diskette with the Trident Windows '95
drivers or specify where the drivers are located, then click the "OK" button.
If the model name that now appears matches the device you have, click on "OK"
