* How to install the PCMCIA software supplied with NT 4.0:
  ========================================================

(1)  Open the Control Panel, and choose "Network" Setup.

(2)  Click "Adapters" and click the "Add" button.

(3)  Insert Windows NT 4.0 CD-ROM or diskettes

(4)  Select "NOVELL NE2000 Compatible Adapter", click OK

(5)  Set the IRQ level and I/O Port Address to any free resources,
     Valid IRQ's = 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 12, 15.
     Valid I/O's = 300, 320, 340 & 360.
  
(6)  Select Bus Type as "PCMCIA".

(7)  Leave the Bus Number selected at 0, and click OK.

(8)  It needs to copy files from Windows NT CD-ROM. So You must
     enter path name which is usually D:\i386 for Intel systems
     if D is your CD-ROM drive.

(9)  Click "Close". Enter IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway,
     Primary WINS Server address, DNS Host Name, Domain name, and
     click "OK"(If you don't know IP Address..., consult your
     Network Administrator.)

(10) Click "Yes" to restart the machine.

1. How to connect to Netware 3.x/4.x server from Windows NT 4.0 Workstation?

	Your Windows NT 4.0 workstation can connect to Netware servers
	by adding "Client service for Netware" software to the system.
	To add "Client service for Netware" to the system, go through
	the following steps.

	(1) click "Network" from "Control Panel", click "Services"
	(2) select "Client Service for Netware", click "OK"
	(3) it starts copying file from your NT workstation CD-ROM or 
	    diskettes
	(4) when it is done, click "OK", and NT will setup itself
	(5) reboot PC (make sure network cable is properly connected)
	(6) To see available network drive, click "Network Neighborhood"

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
