Before you start with the installation process, make sure that the Card Manager software has been successfully installed. For information on installing the Card Manager software, please refer to the appropriate readme file, your Ethernet Adapter manual, or your computer manufacturer. Follow the procedure below to run the PCMCIA/CT II card with Microsoft's Windows for Workgroups(WFW31). This shows how to run WFW31 with the NE2000 driver(or PCM200 driver). 3)Installing either the NE2000 Compatible driver or the PCM200 driver. Method 1: Running WFW with the NE2000 Compatible driver. ================================================= WINDOWS FOR WORKGROUPS 3.1 1. Select NETWORK program item from program group CONTROL PANEL. 2. Select ADAPTERS from the OPTIONS menu. 3. Select ADD button. 4. Select OK to end NETWORK setup. Method 2: Running WFW with the PCM200 driver. ======================================= The OEMSETUP.INF file allow you to run Microsoft Windows for Workgroups with the PCMCIA/CT II Ethernet Adapter. The installation procedure is as fellows: WINDOWS FOR WORKGROUPS 3.1 1. Select NETWORK program item from program group CONTROL PANEL. 2. Select ADAPTERS from the OPTIONS menu. 3. Select ADD button. 4. Select UNLISTED OR UPDATED NETWORK ADAPTER from adapter menu and choose OK button. 5. Insert disk contains PCM200.DOS and OEMSETUP.INF in driver. 6. Sperify the path (A:\WFW31) and choose OK button. 7. Select "PCMCIA/CT II Ethernet" from adapter menu and choose OK button. 8. Choose OK button when asked to configured the adapter. 9. Select CLOSE button to end the ADAPTER setup. 10.Select OK to end NETWORK setup. 4) Exit Windows for Workgroups and reboot your PC. This completes the Windows for Workgroups installation. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
