LAN Manager Workstation Introduction: ------------- This document describes the procedure to setup LAN Manager 2.1 Workstation/Server driver for PCMCIA/CT II Ethernet adapter. Location of Driver: \MSLANMAN.OS2\DRIVERS\ETHERNET\PCM200\PCM200.OS2 Setup Procedures: ----------------- Before you start with the installation process, make sure that the Card Manager software has been successfully installed. For information on installing the Card Manager software, please refer to the appropriate readme file, your Ethernet Adapter manual, or your computer manufacturer. 1. Run the appropriate Microsoft Lan Manager SETUP for computer you are setting up.(DOS, OS/2 or OS/2 Server). Select "Configuration" item ,(the PCMCIA/CT II driver isn't included on the Lan Manager disk) and insert the PCMCIA/CT II driver disk, select the PCMCIA driver and follow the directions. 2. When completed, reboot your computer . Before installing the PCMCIA/CT II Ethernet LAN into workstation, you have to append the following lines into config.sys and autoexec.bat file or it would look like the following. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
