1. Introduction:
This Ethernet NDIS driver conforms to Microsoft LAN Manager Network
Driver Interface Specification (NDIS) Version 3.0, supporting Microsoft
Windows NT v3.1 and v3.5 environments. The driver and the related file
are located in the directory \NT31 and \NT35 of the shipped disk.
2. Contents of the Subdirectory:
RPCI.SYS The NDIS3 driver.
OEMSETUP.INF A setup-information file for installing the Ethernet
NDIS driver under Windows NT.
3. Installation
1) If Windows NT operating system is being installed, select other
manufacturers from the network adapter card options and skip to
step 6 to continue.
2) If Windows NT operating system has been installed, logon as Admi-
nistrator and select Netwrok icon from the control panel.
3) Select the "Add Adapter" button from the Network window.
4) When network adapter choices appear, select "<other> Require disk
from manufacturer" from the menu, and then select the "Continue"
button.
5) Insert the Ethernet Driver Disk to any floppy drive.
6) Follow the instructions on the screen and select the appropriate
drive where the driver diskette is located (e.g., A:\NT31, A:\NT35,
B:\NT31, or B:\NT35) when asked to give the source for the driver.
If you are asked to speceify the node number of the card, do one
of the following:
- if there is one card on the system, select the "Skip" button
to continue the installation;
- if there are several cards on the system, specify the node
number of the card. (If you do not know the number, you can
use the diagnostic program -- DIAG.EXE -- in this diskette
to find out.)
7) Also select the appropriate hardware settings for the Turbo PCI
Ethernet Card.
8) Select OK from the Network window.
9) Restart Windows NT.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
