        This installation assumes that the PCMCIA drivers are working
        properly. Getting Started will describe the installation for
        Pathworks 4.x.

  Getting Started

        ** Note:- The NDIS2 driver is in A:\NDIS2\CLPTX16.DOS

        As the adapter driver is not residing in Pathworks installation
        disk, it is necessary to first install by selecting one of the adapters
        in the installation disk as reference. Then edit the necessary files
        for the Compex LinkPort/TX16 10/100 PCMCIA Fast Ethernet adapter.
        The procedure described below uses 3Com's Etherlink II card as
        the reference.

        DECnet PathWork provides a NETSET.EXE program for installing NDIS
        drivers. For information on the usage of this program, please refer
        to the DECnet installation manual.

        Install DECnet PathWork selecting 3Com's Etherlink II card.

        Modify your CONFIG.SYS file to include the following lines:

             device = c:\decnet\ELNKII.SYS
             device = c:\decnet\CLPTX16.DOS

        Modify the following lines in your PROTOCOL.INI file:

             drivername = ELNKII$
             ioaddress = 0x320
             interrupt = 11
             xmitbufs = 2

             bindings = ELNKMACII

             bindings = ELNKMACII

             drivername = CLPTX16$

             bindings = CLPTX16_NIF

             bindings = CPLTX16_NIF
