Reinstalling the Windows® NT 4.0 Display Drivers for the 16MB ATI Rage 128 Pro Video Card

The drivers must be installed by a user with Windows NT Administrator privileges.  
Please consult your system administrator or Microsoft Windows NT User's Manual for more 
information on Administrator privileges.

 1 From the Start menu, click Start > Settings > Control Panel. 
 2 Double-click the Display icon to access the Display Properties dialog. 
 3 Click the Settings tab and then click the Display Type button. 
 4 At the Display Type dialog, click the Change button. 
 5 At the Change Display dialog, click the Have Disk button. 
 6 Inside the Install From Disk dialog, type C:\DELL\DRIVERS\610CF and click OK. 
 7 At the next Change Display screen, click on Rage 128 Pro and click OK. 
 8 The Third-party Drivers dialog box opens, notifying you that you are about to install
   a third-party driver. Click the Yes button to continue. 
 9 When copying is complete, click OK and then Close on the Display Type dialog box. 
10 Close Display Properties and restart your system for the changes to take effect. 

After your system restarts, a dialog box will open to inform you that you need to use 
the Display Properties dialog box to select your initial settings for the new display device. 

 1 Open the Display Properties dialog box to the Settings page and select the display 
options that you require. 

 2 Close the Display Properties dialog box and follow any other on-screen instructions 
that may appear in order to activate the new display settings you have chosen. 

The reinstallation of the Windows® NT 4.0 display drivers for your 16MB ATI Rage 128 Pro card is now complete.

Note: Service Pack 3 (or higher) must be installed with Windows® NT to enable your AGP video 
card to function properly.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
