VERSION A03 - 2.07.04Q (08/26/99)

This driver fixes the following issues:
  -  Garbage appears when clicking on the wallpaper selection in 800x600x24bpp 
	with simul mode.
  -  Corruption on windows graphic at 1024x768 after the use of the hot-key to 
	switch to CRT only from simul mode (svga panel).
  -  In Explorer, the white garbage is remaining on the file name, when you 
	click the file name at true color.
  -  Sometimes the taskbar is cut off after switching from CRT only to LCD 
	by Hot-key (Win98 1024x768 mode).
  -  Running Winstone99 at 800x600x24bpp and 1024x768x24bpp, major 
	corruption was noted during the test.
  -  Mouse pointer missing with dual display enabled (256 color mode).

This driver fixes the following TV issues:
  -  Cannot enable dual display on LCD and TV.
  -  Flicker on TV during/following DVD playback.
  -  Flicker on TV screen in Dual Display mode.
  -  Incorrect TV position after switching PAL to NTSC
  -  The right side of TV Panning area is not shown when changing to TV 
	using Display Properties.
  -  New TV picture position settings are not saved.

This driver fixes the following movie related issues:
  -  In Independent Display and Timing (IDT) mode, MPEG-to-GO video window is
	corrupted on the Secondary display (CRT-1024x768x8bpp) 
	keeping the Primary display in 1024x768x8bpp mode.
  -  In IDT mode, any active movie is corrupted on the Secondary display 
	(CRT-1024x768x8bpp) after playing a MPEG-to-GO video while the Primary 
	display is in 1024x768x8bpp mode.
  -  Characters are flickering in beginning of DVD movie.
  -  Green or red line flashing on the bottom when play active movie with VCD.
  -  Magenta line (Color key) at right edge when playing a DVD video at
	640x480 in expanded mode on the LCD.

This driver fixes the following cultural/Language issues:
  -  Truncated characters in TV optionswith Korean, Traditional and Standard 
	Chinese.
  -  Wrong German translation under CRT options in Advanced Settings and TV 
	Options	in Windows 9x OS.
  -  Added Dutch translations.


VERSION A02 - 2.06.02Q (05/24/99)								

The following issues were fixed.
  -  Corruption appeared when Secondary display times out.
  -  Going into System Setup, or toggling to a full screen DOS session,
        causes the video overlay (DVD) to freeze.
  -  Dutch language appeared in German OS.
  -  Active Movie v2.0 shuts down in full-screen mode in Standard Chinese, 
	Traditional Chinese, and Korean.
  -  Cosmetic issues with Standard Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean.
  -  Region 2 PAL DVDs had corruption on the right side.

VERSION A01 - 2.05.06Q (03/22/99)								

The following issues were fixed.
  -  Issue related to DOS box corruption in Windows.
  -  1024x768x24-bit CRT-only mode, rapidly resizing an MPG video causes
	a GPF error message.
  -  DVD image corruption and the mouse cursor changing to a square when
        playing a DVD movie automatically.
  -  Corruption issue associated with 1024x768x16-bit CRT-only mode, using 
        the screen saver "Organic Art (Plus 98)", and dragging the Display 
	Properties window around the desktop.
  -  Some icon and text corruption associated with DirectX 6.0.
  -  Issue where clicking the Neomagic tab in the Virtual 
        Desktop, the viewport jumps to the upper left position when in
        panning mode.
  -  [98 MultiMonitor]: Issue where secondary monitor corrupts when monitor 
        toggle on from monitor timeout mode.
  -  Warmdocking switch to CRT is overriden by the driver, it causes a switch 
	back to LCD.
  -  Corruption with text caused by Active Desktop or Plus Pack with the
        following options enabled: Show Window Contents while Dragging
        and Smooth Edges of Screen Fonts.
  -  Some graphics corruption while doing certain accelerations in 24-bit
        mode.
  -  Japanese reboot box for Dual-Display was in English.
  -  NeoMagic properties tab is cut off in Korean, Traditional Chinese, and 
	Standard Chinese.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
