Firmware Upgrade
================
To perform the Firmware Upgrade:
a) Please ensure a stable power supply before proceeding firmware upgrade.
b) Logon VRT-401, and find the upgrade menu in Miscellaneous option. Click the "Browse" button and navigate to the location of the firmware file.
Select the upgrade file. Its name will be displayed in the Upgrade File field.
Click the "Start Upgrade" button to complete firmware upgrade.

Please note: 
After loading firmware to this release (1633a), please be sure to refer to the following steps to perform machine default process to activate the new configurations in machine.

Following steps can be used to reset configurations on VRT-401 to default state:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Power off machine, and press the reset button on the rear panel (Reset button is located beside the power plug).
2. Power on machine, do not release the reset button, wait till the red status LED on front panel flashes twice, then release reset button.
3. Use ping command to verify is machine is reset to default configuration (IP address: 192.168.0.1, no logon username/password required )
4. If there are responses from VRT-401, use Internet browser to logon VRT-401 and start machine administration. (no logon username/password required ).

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
