This driver fixed the following:
  - Video playback in 12x10x8 corrupts after playing for a while in NT4.0.
  - Hardware with cursor corruption.
  - System hang in Neomagic page.
  - Get current/default TV flicker reduction disabled settings from the 
	driver. 
  - NeoMagic MagicMedia256XL+ Properties shows incorrect resolution in 
	12x10x16 CRT or simul mode using panel type 7. Add 1280x1024x16 
	to resolution bar. 
  - Improve Video Playback performance.
  - Add Macrovision support.
  - System cannot boot when busmaster is on.
  - Default external display is set as Projector not CRT.
  - Desktop is not displayed on LCD, when executing "exit" after 
	changing to LCD from CRT with hotkey.
  - Vertical color key at right edge when DVD FS playback.
  - Frame drop with DVD playback.
  - Jaggy outline on DVD screen with interfaced DVD title.
  - Boot Windows in mode 10x7x16 CRT only. Run 2D Flip Cube will see FPS to 
	hight and corruption in most of the mode.
  - TV out checked in NeoMagic tab after reboot on LCD and TV.
  - Screen garbage on CRT(IDT mode) when display setting.
  - At 10x7x any color depth. Open Display Properties, and select 
	NeoMagic. Look at Refresh Rate option to see it active 75 or 85 Hertz. 
	Observe the screen at CRT/Projector is panning.
  - In IDT at 10x7x 8x16 mode. Run any Activemovie from Mpeg in 
	1024x768 G1(LCD) + G2(CRT), and leave video clip to the right handside 
	about half windows. Observe the video clip flickering and static 
	corruption in G2(CRT) only.
  - In 1024x768 any color depth the speedy Vector Style corruption.
  - In any modes, CRT only. The IDT mode is disabled with drivers 
	from verion 1.10.05T to the latest.
  - In any modes, CRT only. Observe the animated bitmaps in 
	Internal/ External display group box are not displayed correctly, 
	i.e: only see two black rectangles. If enable check box LCD would see 
        animation bitmap appearing.
  -  Enable BusMaster at 6x4 or 8x6 x any color depth. Change 
	Refresh Rate and observer are CRT+LCD box gray out color corruption.

  -  Fixed Mystify screen saver corruption.
  -  Fixed issue where NeoMagic driver was not correctly disabled when a 
	video card is found in the dock.
  -  Fixed the corruption on upper screen while installing Winbench 99
	Winstone 99.
  -  Fixed dot garbage with WinBench99 High-End Graphics test.
  -  Fixed issue where the mouse pointer does not adjust position with LCD 
	Expansion on/off.
  -  Fixed the wrong refresh rate information with NeoMagic Independent 
	Display	and Timing (IDT) panel.
  -  Fixed dot garbage when open/close drawer of Lotus Smart Center
  -  Fixed slow drawing speed (256 color/Active DeskTop).
  -  Fixed issue where driver was not saving Independent Display Timing 
	setting	after reboot.
  -  Fixed the mouse cursor missing on movie in expanded screen.
  -  Fixed "Toggle screen function" not working with TV out/Dos Full Screen.
  -  Fixed TV Flicker when switching between full screen/window playback.
  -  Fixed playing an ActiveMovie Mpeg video clip in LCD/TV-NTSC mode, 
	minimize then restore the video will see video corruption.
  -  Corrected German grammar in advanced properties. 
  -  Fixed garbage noted when switching modes.
  -  Fixed the shaking of overlay video window.
  -  Fixed the expand checkbox not being grayout on the display property 
	sheet.
  -  Fixed external VGA monitor corruption when using the independent 
	display timing (IDT) at 1024x768 resolution.
  -  Fixed the issue in Windows 95 where, the Independent Display Timing box 
	in the display properties is grayed out the first time it pops up.
  -  Fixed incorrect refresh rate number in Refresh Rate bar.
  -  Fixed problem where it was not possible to set 800x600 and 1024x768 
	Projector modes.
  -  Fixed garbage during playback of an AVI/MPEGwhen at full screen or 
	maximized in 1280x1024 mode. 
  -  Fixed TV checkbox is still present on a system that does not have a TV 
	ouput.
  -  Fixed  loss of Independent Display Timing (IDT) setting when 
	the system is rebooted"
  -  Grayed-out TV and TV/LCD controls when no TV support is present.
  -  Fixed not being able to change refresh rate with Independent Display 
	Timing (IDT)

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
