This Phoenix ROM BIOS Upgrade product and any additional Phoenix
utilities, provided on Read Only Memory (ROM) devices and/or
floppy diskette are copyright 1984-1998 by Phoenix Technologies Ltd.
and are copyright 1992-1998 by Micro Firmware, Inc.  The ROM BIOS and
utilities are collectively hereinafter referred to as the "Software,"
and is protected by United States Copyright Law and International
Treaty provisions.

The End User purchaser (hereinafter referred to as "You") are granted
a license to use the Software, subject to the following restrictions
and limitations.

This special update version of the Software is provided only to
properly licensed owners of the Software so that the Software
can be updated to a newer revision.  It may not be used for any
other purpose.

The software may be used only on one computer system.  You may not
(nor allow others to) duplicate, decompile, disassemble, modify, or 
otherwise reverse-engineer the Software in any way, except as provided 
in the following paragraph.

You may make archival back-up copies of the Software provided on 
floppy diskette for your own use, subject to the provisions of this 
license.

Due to the nature of ROM BIOS products being customized for a 
particular hardware platform as implemented by the hardware 
manufacturer, as well as other variables beyond our control within a 
particular computer system,  there is no warranty that the Software 
will perform correctly in any particular computer system.  The listing 
of a particular computer system in a cross-reference or other document 
does not constitute a guarantee of compatibility.

IT IS UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED THAT NEITHER PHOENIX TECHNOLOGIES LTD. NOR 
MICRO FIRMWARE, INC. MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, OR 
GUARANTEES OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH REGARD 
TO THE PROGRAMS LICENSED HEREUNDER IN THE INCLUDED SOFTWARE.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
