Add a line reading SHARE to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file, using the full path if necessary (e.g., C:\DOS\SHARE). - Reboot and install the Samsung Windows Printer Driver. If you do not already have Microsoft's Win32S installed, the Samsung Windows Printer Driver will inform you of this and ask you to run the Setup program for Win32S. The system will reboot after the installation. You will need to run the Samsung Windows Printer Driver's Setup again to finish installing the Samsung Windows Printer Driver. Application Specific Issues: - Problem: With some HP LaserJet drivers installed, printing to the Samsung driver gives "The requested resources is in use" error message. - Workaround: Change the port Assignment for the HP LaserJet from LPT1: to FILE: when you want to print to the Samsung printer. - Explanation: The HP LaserJet driver ships with a language monitor which, when active, "lock" the parallel port so no other drivers can use the port. By changing the port assignment, the language monitor is temporarily disabled so the Samsung driver can print to the Samsung printer. - How to print with Network printer with Windows 95/98 for MS-Word.
