Ascentia P Combined BIOS, v1.20

   05613033.EXE / 905613-033


SUMMARY

   File 05613033.EXE contains version 1.20 of the Ascentia P series, 
   models 30, 40, 50, 70, and 80 combined BIOS. When using this 
   diskette, this BIOS will detect and flash the correct BIOS on   
   your system.
      
   This diskette will update Ascentia P BIOSes to revisions 1.03, 
   2.03, and 3.05 (or later), as required by the particular system. 
   Use this combination BIOS to upgrade your system BIOS to the 
   minimum level required for the Ascentia P Docking Station, AST 
   part number 503174.


CREATING THE DISKETTE

   Insert a 3.5" formatted 1.44MB diskette into drive A: and run
   the EXTRACT utility.  This will transfer the diskette image file
   to the floppy diskette.


USING THE SOFTWARE

   Insert the diskette in drive A:\ and turn the system ON.
   
   Follow the instructions on the screen.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
