Introduction:
-------------
This document describes the procedure to install Windows 95b and
Windows 98 driver for DE-528 Ethernet PCI Adapter.
Location of Driver: \W95B_98\DE528.SYS
Installing driver procedure on Microsoft Windows 95b/98 :
---------------------------------------------------------
1. Before you start with the installation process, make sure that
your adapter should be properly installed in your PCI bus slot.
2. Insert release driver diskette into floppy disk.
3. Executing Windows 95b/98, it will auto-detect your system
configuration and find the adapter hardware.
( If Win95b/98 does not prompt that it detects the
D-Link DE-528 Ethernet PCI Adapter,there must be something
wrong with the Ethernet adapter or your system enviroment.)
4. Ask you to select which driver you want to install.
5. Windows 95b/98 will appear some messages to insert Windows 95b/98
system disk to complete setup step.
6. Windows 95b/98 will finish the other installation procedure
automatically, then you restart the system.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
