RESOLUTIONS Version 1.04 contains the following resolutions: Fixed the system unable to detect CD-ROM if CMOS was corrupted. Fixed the issue where Windows 95 could not detect a Plug-n-Play (PnP) printer when the parallel port was set to ECP mode. Fixed the issue where the system was unable to reallocate resource used by PCI device (e.g., IRQ 15) to the system board ISA devices. Fixed the Western Digital Phoenix drive. Fixed the issue with video cards that failed at POST 63. Fixed the issue with the 3Com card which showed memory failure when the bus master continued at warm boot. ENHANCEMENTS Version 1.04 contains the following enhancements: Upgraded the video BIOS from 2.04 to 2.07. Fixed the year 2000 issue where the date was not reported correctly when it changed from year 1999 to year 2000. PREVIOUS RELEASE(S) Version 1.03 contained the following resolutions and enhancements: System hang problem when the Shuttle Pocket Adapter installation program tried to sense the parallel port, if the parallel port was set to Enhanced mode in SETUP. Reported 10-bit address decode for devices on SMC chip (floppy controller and COM ports). The BIOS reported POST error 12.31 if both floppy drive types were set to "None" and the onboard floppy adapter was set to "Add-in" but no add-in floppy controller was installed. BIOS data area showed two serial ports after warm boot. Interlink was unable to allocate ports. Timeout fix for the Western Digital 2.1GB drive. Added Suspend mode support in Win95 APM in order to pass Win95 logo certification. Enhanced IDE drive detection logic. This fixed intermittent hard disk not found problem at power up. Added 2-second delay period prior to entering Suspend mode. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Version 1.02 contained the following resolutions and enhancements: Fixed problem of configuring Plug-and-Play modem card. The modem card was always configured at COM1. Incorporated the new SiS VGA BIOS 2.02. Previous releases also contained the following resolutions and enhancements: Fixed the problem in SETUP where the number of heads of IDE drives was not reported correctly on WD 32500. Added system BIOS part number field in SETUP. Removed COM2 port from BIOS SETUP. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
