PREVIOUS RELEASE(S)

Version 1.04 is a special maintenance version and was developed
to resolve the problems described in Technical Bulletin #1365.

To resolve the problems, the level one cache was modified to
operate in write-through mode. Because the performance of the
computer is reduced when using write-through cache, AST
recommends using version 1.03 (filename 05562035.EXE).

Use version 1.04 only if experiencing the symptoms described in
   Technical Bulletin # 1365.

Previous versions include the following resolutions:

Sending the power down command to IDE drives.

Assigning a conflict resource to serial ports if port 1 was set
to 2F8h or port 2 was set to 3F8h.

System failing to boot due to an ISA VGA problem.

Int 15h function returning incorrect memory size when the system
   has more than 64MB.

   Unable to update ISA CMOS.

ISA VGA problems that caused system to fail to boot.

Changed serial port configuration options to support COM1 to COM4
on each port. This fixed the problem of failing Win95 test.

Previous versions also include the following enhancements:

   Set C8000-DFFFF to non-cacheable.
