CD TurboWriter RW Firmware Upgrade Help (1.50)

*****Always make sure there is NO CD in the drive during upgrade**********

Go to the directory where you have downloaded and unzipped the firmware upgrade. Double
click on the RWflash file. It will look like a drive with a yellow burst above it.
The next screen will be titled 'Firmware Flash Up Tool.'

In the top square white screen, you should see the name of the RocketRW,
the product ID, SCSI ID, host adapter ID, and currnet firmware revision.

Line will look something like the following:
	'0 6 SAF CD-RW6424	1.30'

Click on that line so it is highlighted.

Near the bottom of the screen you will see a white rectangle with 'cdr.bin' in it.

Go to the right and click on browse and go to the directory where you zipped the upgrade.
Click on the file 'ms21s150.bin.'
Click 'Open.'

Now the name of the directory where you put the file and 'ms21s150.bin' should appear in
the white rectangle.

Click 'Flash Execute' to start process.
If that button is greyed out, make sure the CD-RW6424 at top is highlighted.

Next screen will confirm all your choices. If these aren't correct, click 'NO,' and you will
be able to correct any mistakes.

Before you click 'YES,' check CD-RW6424 and make sure NO CD is in the drive.

When you click 'YES,' a progress screen will appear. DO NOT try to stop the firmware upgrade
once initiated!!!

The lights on the CD-Reocrder will flash for about a minute or two. Watch the lights on the
CD-Recorder. When they stop flashing, a screen will appear giving the status of the upgrade. It
will give all the drive info and will show the previous firmware version and the upgrade
version.

Click 'OK.'
Click 'Close' on the firmware upgrade box.
Shut down computer and restart it.
Check device manager and make sure it is the proper firmware for the CD TurboWriter RW.
It should be v1.50.
If it is not rerun firmware upgrade again.
