       to install it.

                SMC EZ Card 10/100 (SMC1244TX V2)

   7. And then SMC EZ Card 10/100 (SMC1244TX V2) Setup
dialog box appear, you must specify "Media Type" of the adapter
plugged in your PC. Because netcard detection function does not support
in SETUP program, please make sure these settings match your adapter's
configuration. Otherwise the network ability of Windows NT can not work
       properly.

The connection types for FastNIC Adapter are
       --------------------------------------------
        AutoSense ; performs automatic media
                                           ; detection during driver
                                           ; initialization.

        10BaseT ; RJ-45 connector, line speed is
; 10 Mega bits per second.

10BaseT Full_Duplex ; communication in full duplex mode,
                                           ; speed is 20Mbps.

        100BaseTx ; RJ-45 connector, line speed is

(SMC1244TX V2)" within the Installed Adapter Cards menu and "SMC EZ Card
10/100 (SMC1244TX V2) Driver" within the Installed Network Software menu.

directory to C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\FastNIC.SYS and the OEMSETUP.INF
from A:\WINNT to C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 but renamed it to another installation
       information file (like OEMNAD??.INF).

NOTICE!! C:\WINNT is the directory where your NT O.S. is located.
