I.	Introduction 
	The Zoltrix Communication CD-ROM contains communication software and modem drivers 
	required for your modem. Also included on the CD-ROM is a trial version of the 32 bit 
	FaxTalk Messenger software intended for Windows 95.

II.	Windows 95 Modem Installation Notes
	The Windows 95 modem drivers for most models are located in the Root directory of the 
	CD-ROM. The exception to this are the some Windows modems. The location of the drivers 
	for the windows driver not found in the root directory are listed below. 

	FM-HSP336p Modem Installation Note
	1.	When prompted for the Driver Installation disk, select D:\PCTEL\HSP336P
		(Replace D: with the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive if neccessary)
	2.	Follow the onscreen directions.

	FM-HSP56p Modem Installation Note
	1.	When prompted for the Driver Installation disk, select D:\PCTEL\HSP56P 
		(Replace D: with the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive if neccessary)
	2.	Follow the onscreen directions.

	FM-HSP56PCI Modem Installation Note
	1.	When prompted for the Driver Installation disk, select D:\PCTEL\HSP56PCI 
		(Replace D: with the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive if neccessary)
	2.	Follow the onscreen directions.

	FM-SFT56i Modem Installation Note
	1.	When prompted for the Driver Installation disk, select D:\FMSFT56i 
		(Replace D: with the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive if neccessary)
	2.	Follow the onscreen directions.
        3.      If you are using the S3 PCI VGA and having problems with FM-SFT56i,
                install the Driver Patch located in D:\FMSFT56i\Patch\Cpatch.exe.

	Modem Installation Note (Other Models)
	1.	When prompted for the Driver Installation disk, select D:\ 
		(Replace D: with the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive if neccessary)
	2.	Select the correct model # found on the Quick Installation Reference Card
	3.	Click OK.
	4.	Follow the onscreen directions.
	Note: 	Before installing the modem driver you may need to let Win95 autodetect the
		Modem port if it is not detected.

III.	Communication Software Installation
	The Zoltrix Communication CD-ROM contains more than one version of the FaxTalk software. 
	There is one version for non voice modems, one version for modems using a Rockwell 
	voice chipset and one version for modems using a PCtel voice chipset. You will also 
	find a 32 bit trail version for modem using both the Rockwell and PCtel voice chipsets.

	FaxTalk Messenger Installation for Rockwell based Voice Modems
	(Models: FMVSP56i/FMVSP56i2/FMVSP56i3/FMVSP56e3/FMHCF56i/FMSFT56i/FMVSP336i)
	FaxTalk Messenger incorporates ultra powerful voice messaging and fax functions into a 
	single application. The voice messaging functions include support for multiple mailboxes 
	with password protection, fax on demand, caller ID, distinctive ring, and ultra flexible 
	configuration. Full send and receive fax functions include support for Error Correction 
	Mode (ECM) faxing, advanced 2-D imaging, Binary File Transfer (BFT) and Polling. 
	This version is intended for voice modems using a Rockwell voice chipset.

	1.	In Windows 95:  Select START then RUN from the taskbar
		In Windows 3.1: Select Run from the Program Manager's File menu 
	2.	Type D:\FAXTALKV\DISK1\SETUP.EXE
		(Replace D: with the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive if neccessary)
	3.	Click OK.
	4.	Follow the onscreen directions.

	FaxTalk Messenger Installation for PCtel based HSP Voice Modems
	(Models: FMHSP336i/FMHSP336p/FMHSP56p/FMHSP56PCI)
	FaxTalk Messenger incorporates ultra powerful voice messaging and fax functions into a 
	single application. The voice messaging functions include support for multiple mailboxes 
	with password protection, fax on demand, caller ID, distinctive ring, and ultra flexible 
	configuration. Full send and receive fax functions include support for Error Correction 
	Mode (ECM) faxing, advanced 2-D imaging, Binary File Transfer (BFT) and Polling. 
	This version is intended for Windows HSP voice modems using a PCtel chipset.

	1.	In Windows 95:  Select START then RUN from the taskbar
		In Windows 3.1: Select Run from the Program Manager's File menu 
	2.	Type D:\FAXTALKH\DISK1\SETUP.EXE
		(Replace D: with the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive if neccessary)
	3.	Click OK.
	4.	Follow the onscreen directions.

	FaxTalk Plus Installation for all Non-Voice Modems
	This version is intended for all non voice modems. FaxTalk Plus incorporates ultra 
	powerful fax functions into a single application. Full send and receive fax functions 
	include support for Error Correction Mode (ECM) faxing, advanced 2-D imaging, Binary 
	File Transfer (BFT) and Polling.

	1.	In Windows 95:  Select START then RUN from the taskbar
		In Windows 3.1: Select Run from the Program Manager's File menu 
	2.	Type D:\FAXTALK\SETUP.EXE
		(Replace D: with the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive if neccessary)
	3.	Click OK.
	4.	Follow the onscreen directions.

	Comit Installation
	COMit for Windows is a communications application for Microsoft Windows version 3.1 or 
	later. You can use COMit to connect your computer to other computers and to information 
	services such as CompuServe and Genie. This software is intended for use with all Zoltrix 
	modem models. 

	1.	In Windows 95:  Select START then RUN from the taskbar
		In Windows 3.1: Select Run from the Program Manager's File menu 
	2.	Type D:\COMIT\INSTALL.EXE
		(Replace D: with the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive if neccessary)
	3.	Click OK.
	4.	Follow the onscreen directions.

IV.	Trial Version Software
	The Zoltrix Communication CD-ROM contains extra value added software. These trial 
	versions are fully functional and give you the opportunity to try the software before 
	making a purchase.

	FaxTalk Communicator {32 bit Trial version} for Rockwell based Voice Modems. 
	(Models: FMVSP56i/FMVSP56i2/FMVSP56i3/FMVSP56e3/FMHCF56i/FMSFT56i/FMVSP336i)
	This is a trial version of the 32 bit Faxtalk intended for voice modems using a 
	Rockwell voice chipset. This software is fully Win95 compatible and enables the fax and 
	voice features of the modem.

	1.	In Windows 95:  Select START then RUN from the taskbar
		In Windows 3.1: Select Run from the Program Manager's File menu 
	2.	Type D:\32bit\FAXTALKV\DISK1\SETUP.EXE
		(Replace D: with the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive if neccessary)
	3.	Click OK.
	4.	Follow the onscreen directions.

	FaxTalk Communicator {32 bit Trial version} for PCtel based HSP Voice Modems
	(Models: FMHSP336i/FMHSP336p/FMHSP56p/FMHSP56PCI)
	This is a trial version of the  32 bit Faxtalk intended for voice modems using a 
	PCtel voice chipset. This software is fully Win95 compatible and enables the fax and 
	voice features of the modem.

	1.	In Windows 95:  Select START then RUN from the taskbar
		In Windows 3.1: Select Run from the Program Manager's File menu 
	2.	Type D:\32bit\FAXTALKH\DISK1\SETUP.EXE
		(Replace D: with the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive if neccessary)
	3.	Click OK.
	4.	Follow the onscreen directions.

	FaxTalk FaxCenter {32 bit Trial version} for all Non-Voice Modems
	This is a trial version of the  32 bit Faxtalk intended for non voice modems. 
	This software is fully Win95 compatible and enables the fax features of the modem.

	1.	In Windows 95:  Select START then RUN from the taskbar
		In Windows 3.1: Select Run from the Program Manager's File menu 
	2.	Type D:\32bit\FAXTALK\DISK1\SETUP.EXE
		(Replace D: with the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive if neccessary)
	3.	Click OK.
	4.	Follow the onscreen directions.

	SyGate software {Trial version}
