Software Installation for Users of Windows NT To install the Interactive PCMCIA-ATAPI drivers on installed Windows NT 4.0 system: 1. Select "SCSI Adapter" from "My Computer", "Control Panel" program group. 2. Select "Drivers" from "SCSI Adapter" icon. 3. Select "Add" from menu 4. Select "Have Disk" from menu 5. Insert your KD451 drivers diskette 6. Enter "A:\drivers\WinNT\" for path to NT driver and select "OK" 7. Choose "Interactive PCMCIA-ATAPI" driver and select "OK" 8. Select "Install" followed by "Continue" to install the driver 9. When NT requests the path for the drivers, type in "a:\drivers\winnt". To install the Interactive PCMCIA-ATAPI drivers on installed Windows NT 3.51 system: 1. Select "Windows NT Setup" from Main program group 2. Select "Options" from Windows NT Setup window 3. Select "Add/Remove SCSI Adapter" from menu 4. Select "Add" from SCSI Adapter Setup window 5. Select "Other" from the list of supported adapters 6. Insert Interactive EIDE software diskette 7. Enter "A:\drivers\WinNT\" for path to NT driver and select "OK" 8. Choose "Interactive PCMCIA-ATAPI" driver and select "OK" 9. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
