6.	Software Installation for Users of Windows 95/98

1.	Boot up your PC, and after Windows in completely loaded, insert the PCMCIA card into your PCMCIA socket.  You will be prompted by a dialogue box that detects the new hardware.
2.	Select Next and choose to search for the best driver for your device and click next
3.	If you are using Win98, remove the check marks from all selections other than specify a location and select the browse option 
4.	Browse to the a:\drivers\Win9X folder
5.	Click next and Windows will find the correct driver
6.	Confirm all requests and select finish to finalize

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
