Este driver funciona bajo:

***** DESCOMPRIME EL DRIVER ****

1.- Ejecuta el archivo: "1010-31.EXE"
Se creará una carpeta nombrada star y otra 1010
"C:\STAR\1010"

2.- Copia el archivo: "STARSET.MSK" en: "C:\STAR"
3.- Copia el archivo: "STARSET.MSK" en: "C:\STAR\1010"
4.- CONECTA LA IMPRESORA AL PUERTO LPT1 Y ENCIÉNDELA
5.- Configura las opciones de la impresora
ejecutando el archivo: "STARSET.EXE"
6.- Al salir del programa usa la opción:
EXIT --- EXIT AND SEND DATA TO PRINTER
NOTA: ALGUNAS APLICACIONES NECESITARAN SER CONFIGURADAS
ANTES DE PODER USAR LA IMPRESORA CON ELLAS. SI TU IMPRESORA
NO ESTA EN LA LISTA, CONFIGURALA CONFORME MARCA EL MANUAL
O USA UNA DE ESTAS EN EL ORDEN DESCENDENTE.

2.- Ejecuta el archivo: INSTALL.EXE
3.- Sigue las instrucciones de la pantalla

2.- Abre el panel de control
3.- Abre la carpeta impresoras
4.- Haz doble-click sobre agregar impresora
5.- Elije "siguiente" y después "impresora local"
6.- Oprime "Tengo un disco"
7.- Selecciona la carpeta donde se descomprimieron
los archivos por default: "C:\STAR\1010"
8.- Selecciona el "install.inf"
9.- Selecciona la impresora que vas a usar

Para abrir el archivo que contiene el manual
"nx1010um.pdf"
necesitarás instalar el Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Puedes encontrarlo en el sitio de Adobe:

Este driver lo usé con Win95 y ahora
lo uso con Win98.
Las opciones de la impresora dentro de
propiedades de la impresora
aparecerán dentro del separador detalles.
En ella se ubica en la parte inferior
derecha de la pantalla un boton con el
texto de "instalar".
Al oprimir el botón aparecerán las opciones
de configuración de la impresora.

If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
