INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR WINDOWS NT4.0

This document contains instructions for installing and uninstalling the Oce Repro Center PostScript printer driver on your system.


TO INSTALL THE OCE REPRO CENTER POSTSCRIPT PRINTER DRIVER:
1.	Start your system (log in to the network).
2.	Make sure all applications are closed.
3	Insert the floppy disk into your disk drive (A:\) and run 'setup.exe'.
	The Oce Repro Center printer driver installation window appears.
4.	Select the required language and click 'Next'.
5.	Select the required network port from the list.
	(If there is no port to the Oce Repro Center, then click 'Add Network Port' and browse to the Oce Repro Center, select it and click OK. Then select the new port and click 'Next').
	If you do not know the network path to the Oce Repro Center, please ask your system administrator.
6.	Check the option "Make this the default printer" if needed,
	and click 'Next'.
7.	Accept the terms of the license agreement and click 'Next'.
8.	Click 'Finish'.
	The installation starts.
	The message "Installation successful" appears. If it does not, contact your system administrator.
	For the driver to work properly, Windows must be restarted.
9.	Click 'Document Defaults' to setup the printer driver, 
	click 'Printer Properties' to setup the fonts,
	click 'Restart Windows now' to restart Windows, 
	or click 'Exit to Windows' to quit without restarting.

TO UNINSTALL THE OCE REPRO CENTER POSTSCRIPT PRINTER DRIVER:
1.	Start your system.
2.	Make sure all applications are closed.
3.	Insert the floppy disk into your disk drive (A:\) and run "unsetup.exe".
	The Oce Repro Center Printer Driver Uninstall window appears.
4.	Select the required language and click 'Next'.
5.	If not yet displayed, select the printer to be deleted and click 'Next'.
6.	Click 'Finish' to start the uninstall procedure (or click 'Exit' to exit the uninstall program).
	The uninstall procedure is started and when finished the message "Uninstall successful" is displayed.
7.	Click 'Restart Windows Now' to restart Windows or click 'Exit to Windows' to quit without restarting.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
