RISO0001.TXT Driver File Contents (r10900L6.exe)

MS Windows 3.1x / 95 printer driver installation information for
                     the printer

In your Windows directory, this installation will create the files RISO.INI, SID2NUP.INI and files of the form FS*.PDC, e.g. FSLPT1.PDC.

The file DLGTOOL.INI may also be placed in your Windows directory depending on other drivers installed on your system.

The installation will place the following files in your Windows/System directory:

1) Twelve .DLL files of the form SID2*.DLL, e.g. SID2LINW.DLL.

2) Help files, one for each language, e.g. RISO0001.HLP and
   RISO0049.HLP.

3) The following files:
   RISO.CFG
   RISO.CMG
   RISOW.DRV
   RISO.ISD
   RISO.ITD
   SID2RNNW.DRV
   SID2STCK.EXX
   SID2WST1.ITD

4) The following files may also be placed in your Windows/System directory depending on other drivers installed on your system:
   SH21W16.DLL
   GCADCTW.DLL
   GCAMEMW.DLL

If you plan to install a future version of the driver, you should first remove the previous version using the Windows Control Panel / Printers dialog. To ensure that the driver has been removed completely, we recommend checking in the file WIN.INI to ensure that the corresponding printer section has been deleted.

It is normally not necessary to delete the .INI files, the .PDC files or any other file manually.

If you would like to delete the complete driver from your system and you are very sure, that no other driver or application is using these files, you may delete them after having removed the driver with the Windows Control Panel / Printers dialog.
