Test Plan Function Name: South Bridge PCI IRQ Routing Miniport Driver Hardware requirement: SiS 5503/5513/5571/5598/5595 chipset Software requirement: Windows 95 OSR2.1 Make sure the subkey "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion" should be equal to either "4.03.1212" or "4.03.1214" Installation: Run program "setup.exe" in the driver floppy disk and it will install the miniport driver automatically. Test procedure: Reboot the computer after the installation is completed succeddfully. Make sure the following requirements are met. 1. IRQ steering is enabled. Check the path: Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager -> System Devices -> PCI bus -> IRQ Steering, there is a group box labeled "IRQ status", which shold show you that the IRQ steering is enabled. 2. IRQs are properly assigned. Check the path: Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager, double click the computer icon, a list of IRQ resources would be given. 3. Please use HCT 7.6 test package. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
