VIA VT6105 Rhine III Fast Ethernet Adapter Installation for Windows 95 OSR2 Introduction: ============= This document shows you how to setup the driver in Windows 95 OSR2. Installation: ============= Before starting with the installation process, make sure that the adapter is properly installed and configured. 1. After starting Windows 95, the windows will automatically detect new hardware, then the "Update Device Driver Wizard" window appears. 2. Insert the driver diskette into drive A, then click the "Next" button. 3. Click the "Other Location..." button. 4. Type A:\ into the box, then click the "OK" button. 5. Windows 95 will start to search floppy drive for network driver, and Windows displays the message: "VIA VT6105 Rhine III Fast Ethernet Adapter". Click the "Finish" button to install the driver for this device. 6. If prompted for the "Network Adapter source disk", click the "OK" button. Type A:\ into the box, then click the "OK" button. 7. If prompted for the Windows 95 CD, insert the Windows 95 CD into the CD-ROM drive. 8. Windows 95 starts to copy the drivers to the user's hard disk. 9. When windows has finished installing the software that your new hardware device requires, click the "Yes" button to restart the computer.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
