DRIVER INSTALLATION 

	1.  Select "My Computer" icon.

	2.  Select "Control Panel" icon.

	3.  Select "System" icon.

	4.  You should be in the "System Properties" window.

	5.  Click on the "Hardware" tab.

	6.  Click the "Device Manager" button.

	7.  Click the "Sound, Video and game controllers" selection.

	8.  Click on the adapter "Creative AudioPCI" that the driver is replacing.

	9. Click on the "Driver" tab.

	10. Click the "Update Driver..." button.

	11. The "Upgrade Device Driver Wizard" window should now open.

	12. Click the "Next" button.

	13. Select the option to "Display a list of the known drivers
	for this device so that I can choose a specific driver".

	14. Click the "Have Disk" button.

	15. Click on "Browse" and go to the directory (<CDROM>:\CT5880\AUDIO\ENGLISH\WDM).
	Go to the directory. Select the "wdmsbpci.inf" file and press ok.

	16. The "Upgrade Device Driver Wizard" window should open with a Message 
	"Select a Device Driver"

	17. Click the "SB PCI128 Audio Driver (WDM)" of Models.

	18.  Follow remaining prompts as instructed.  Close all windows
	and reboot.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
