Installation Procedure 
-----------------------

 1. Plug the adapter into one of the Bus Master PCI slots of your PC.

 2. Power on your PC.

 3. Bring up the Windows 98 operating system.

 4. Windows 98 will prompt for the "PCI Ethernet Controller" in "Add New 
    Hardware Wizard" dialog box. Click the <NEXT> button.

 5. Select "Search for the best driver for your device" from "Add New Hardware 
    Wizard" dialog box, and click the <NEXT> button.

 6. Insert "Myson MTD80X Based Fast Ethernet Card" driver disk in the floppy 
    disk drive (e.g. A:).

 7. Enter the driver path name as shown below, and click the <NEXT> button 
    from "Add New Hardware Wizard" dialog box.

    Example :

             A:\WIN98
      
 8. Select  "Myson MTD80X Based Fast Ethernet Card",
    and click the <NEXT> button from the dialog box.

 9. To complete the process, please follow the instructions on the screen.

10. Restart your computer.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
