This Sato PCX utility was created to convert PCX files into
a format that could be printed on a Sato M-84XX series printer.

This utility is currently undocumented although it is a simple
DOS program.

This utility has been compressed and you will have to uncompress 
the file to run the executable.

Create a directory on your hard drive and copy the SATOPCX6.EXE
file along with the PCX files that you would like to convert.
Shell out to DOS and at the C:/ prompt type in the executable.
This will open the file and start the conversion process.
Follow the prompts provided in the file.

You will be able to send the file directly to the printer, store
as a forms overlay, store as an ASCII file, or store as a basic 
program.

This utility is provided free of charge by SATO America, Inc. 
for users and customers of our M-84xx line of Bar Code Printers. 
It is needed for the RISC Based newer RISC based printers as
they can handle a PCX file directly. Refer to the programmers manual
for additional instructions.
