Instructions on installing and using the monitor update file.


Click on the "Start" button on the taskbar.
Click on "Settings" and select "Control Panel"
Double-click on the icon marked "Display".
Select the "Settings" tab.
Click on "Change Display Type"
	(some versions of Windows have an "Advanced" button instead.)
Select the "Monitor Type" tab and click on the "Change" button.

For Windows 98, Click Next. 
Click the button next to "Display a list of all the drivers..." to select it. Click Next.
Select "Show All Devices".
Scroll down the list on the left and click on "Packard Bell".
Click on your monitor model from the list on the right.
Click on "OK".
Your monitor should now be displayed in the "Monitor" box.
Click on the "Close" button.
Click on the "OK" button. 

For Windows 95, Select "Show All Devices".
Scroll down the list on the left and click on "Packard Bell".
Click on your monitor model from the list on the right.
Click on "OK".
Your monitor should now be displayed in the "Monitor" box.
Click on the "Close" button.
Click on the "OK" button.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
