Version Comment (Date created, 60xx version, 62xx version)
=======     ==================================================
0.31 -Initial release of FontBuilder. 6/02/95 1.1A

0.32 -Had to update the test for addresses within the data field,
since the message section now runs from 008AXXXX to 008BXXXX.
Also removed the test for the end address. 10/11/95 1.1C

0.33 -Extended the nlq_id array from 510 elements to 566. These
modifications were made because we added the Latin 2
             character set. 11/27/95
-Renamed the "OK" button to "Quit." 12/1/95
-Removed the "Cancel" button, and added a button labeled
"Save Settings" which saves to the .ini file. 12/1/95
-Removed the "Msg Start Address" field, since the message
section has a fixed address, and now the font S-record file
lines are sorted by address. 12/15/95 3.0

1.0 -Reduced the nlq_id array from 566 to 535. These
modifications were made because we added the Cyrillic
set and removed the APL set.
-Set compiler option which places all data items
greater than 6000 into a new data segment. Fixes
             a stack overflow problem.
-Added a test for solitary address bytes within the data
field to the extract routine. 3/28/96 6.0

1.1 -Expanded the nlq_id array from 535 to 580. These
modifications were made because we added the Greek
             character set.
-Fixed a bug in which special characters caused
the length field of the S-record to disappear
             during new message generation.
-Moved to the new FontBuilder software design.
             Changes include:
                * a more object-oriented structure.
                * a new dialog box which allows the program to
work with Twinax/Coax and IPDS font files in
                  addition to Parallel/Serial.
                * interface improvements, with the addition of
a wait cursor and status messages. 6/19/97 8.4.6

1.2 -Changed fgen.c so that the header file equivalent to
simfon.h is created (in the same directory as the .cdf
file). This has been added so that those trying to
add Arabic characters to the T6045 can view their
             changes in the simulator.
-Also changed fntmsg.cpp so that the -MIPS flag is sent
             to the fgen2() routine. 11/26/97 8.5.13

1.3 -Fixed a bug in which the printer hung up after downloads.
This bug was introduced in version 1.2 of FontBuilder.
The -MIPS flag not only controls the final output of the
program, but also how the fonts are read into the various
             buffers. 12/8/97 8.5.13

2.0 -Added support for T6215 printers, and 180 dpi constant
             density fonts. Other changes include:
                * file type checking before performing operations.
                * alternate download instructions for T6215 printers.
			-nlq_id array expanded to 593 in 8/98 for 1250,51,52 and 53.
Expanded again to 595 for addition of two variations of Phi
			 and Omega in Greek. 3/14/00 9.0C 1.1

2.1 -Updated FontBuilder and the printer code to work together
again after a relocation of some code sections to the
             font ROM had caused problems.
                * the new message section base address is 008B0000 (was 008B6000).
                * the section following the messages starts at 008B7000
-Fixed a bug in which selecting the T6045 printer type was
             ignored. 7/18/00 9.2 1.1

2.2 -Fixed a bug in which the section following messages (starting at
008B7000) was not being copied over to the new font/message file.
-Fixed a minor bug in which a msgs.txt file had to exist before
a new font/message file could be generated. This is only true if
we are not copying the old message portion. 3/30/01 9.2B 1.1

-Updated the ppsi.1 file to work with latest firmware. 9/21/01 9.2C 2.1

2.3 -Added Spanish II and Latin America languages.
-Modified Draft 3 characters to look less like 8's.
-Fixed a bug in FontBuilder in which trying to copy the old message
portion was crashing since we were trying to close a file we hadn't
             opened.
-Fixed a bug in FontBuilder in which new long web panel messages
were overrunning a buffer, causing the program to crash. Increased
the buffer limit from 300 to 512 characters.
-Some sections of the printer were moved around on the font ROM,
so had to change the fixed address of the section following the
             messages from 008B7000 to 008B8000. 5/15/02 9.3 2.2

2.4 -Changed Draft style colon and semicolon characters glyphs to print one
dot per "jot" instead of two.
            -Fixed Draft N and N^, lower and uppercase (88, 89, A8, A9).
-Fixed DP C5+4, and added Cyrillic '3' char.
-Updated FontBuilder -- nlq_id array expanded for new Cyrillic '3' char,
                                    now at 596.
-Took out cases in read7_5() function which only copied font data to
memory words containing existing data in buffer. This had been causing
some linedraw characters to have missing rows. 11/12/02 9.3 2.2B
