The system displays the "New Hardware Found" window, with "PCMCIA-10/100M+56K Multifunction Card" as the device name. 2) If it is retail version Windows 95 (4.00.950), select "Drivers from disk provided by hardware manufacturer", and insert the driver disc into the CD-ROM drive, type "f:\driver\win9x" if the CD-ROM drive is f:, then press enter. If it is Windows 95 OSR2 (4.00.950B), check the "Specify a location" and give the path, "f:\driver\win9x" if your CD-ROM drive is f:, then click next to continue. 4) Occasionally, the system may ask for files from the Windows 95 CD-ROM. Follow the prompt until the installation is complete. 5) Reboot the computer. [3] DRIVER INSTALLATION FOR WINDOWS 98 INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: 1) Insert 10_100M+56K LANMODEM Card into the PCMCIA slot. The system displays the "New Hardware Found" window, with "PCMCIA-10/100M+56K Multifunction Card" as the device name. 2) Click Next, then select "Search for the best driver for your device.", and click Next to continue. 3) Ensure the "Specify a location" box is checked. And insert the driver disc into your CD-ROM drive. Assume the CD-ROM drive is f:, give the location "f:\driver\win9x" and click Next. 4) When the Windows find the INF file for the device, click Next. 5) Occasionally, the system may ask for files from the Windows 98 CD-ROM. Follow the prompt until the installation is complete. 6) Reboot the computer. [4] DRIVER INSTALLATION FOR WINDOWS NT 4.0 INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: LAN installation: 1) Open the Control Panel, and choose Network 2) Select Adapter tab and click the Add button. 3) Click Have Disk button. 4) Type in the path f:\driver\WINNT40 if the CD-ROM drive is f:. 5) Select the "PCMCIA 10_100M+56K LANMODEM Card (LAN)". 6) Set the LAN IRQ, I/O Port Address, and Connection Type to any free resources, Valid LAN IRQ = 2,3,4,5,7,9,10,11,12,15 Valid LAN I/O = 300,320,340,360,240,280 Valid Connection types = AutoSense, 100 Mbps, 100 Mbps Full_Duplex, 10 Mbps, 10 Mbps Full_Duplex 7) Click on OK and back to the Network Settings. 8) Click on OK and Restart the Machine. Modem installation: 1) Make sure the LAN installation is completed. 2) Run the SETUP.EXE under the \driver\WinNT40 subdirectory. 3) Select "Install new modem driver and components", and click Next. 4) Selcet "Yes, I want to restart my computer now.". 5) Click Finish to complete the installation. [5] DRIVER INSTALLATION FOR WINDOWS 2000 INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: 1) Insert PCMCIA 10_100M+56K LANMODEM Card into the PCMCIA slot. The system displays the "Found New Hardware Wizard" window. Clink Next to continue. 2) The "Found New Hardware Wizard" prompt you what do you want the wizard to do. select the "Search for a suitable driver for my device.", and click Next to continue. 3) Check the "Specify a location" while the wizard asking where do you want Windows to search for driver files. Then click Next to continue. 4) Insert the driver disc and specify the path, 'f:\driver\win2000', assume your CD-ROM drive is f:. then click Next to continue. 5) After the wizard found the INF file and the driver, click Next. 6) When the "Digital Signature Not Found" window pops up, click 'Yes' button to continue installation. 7) After copying the drivers, the wizard shows "Completing the Found New Hardware Wizard", click Finish to close the wizard. [6] DRIVER INSTALLATION FOR WINDOWS Me INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: 1) Insert PCMCIA OEM_PRODUCT_FULL_NAM into the PCMCIA slot. The system displays the "Add New Hardware Wizard" window, with "PCMCIA-10/100M+56K Multifunction Card" as the device name. 2) Ensure the driver disk is inserted, then select "Specify the location of the driver (Advanced)", and click Next to continue. 3) Select the "Search for the best driver for your device. (Recommended)", and check the "Specify a location". Assume your CD-ROM drive is F:, type "f:\driver\winme", and click next to continue. 4) After the system found the setup INF file, click next to continue. 5) Occasionally, the system may ask for files from the Windows Me CD-ROM. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
