    This device driver has been fully tested on the following platforms:

    Slackware 7.1

    Redhat 6.2

    Caldera 2.3

    SuSE 6.1


	The driver of this device comes with PCMCIA packages which are avaialable
    at ftp://sourceforge.org. After you have rebuilt and installed PCMCIA
    package, please add the following lines to /etc/pcmcia/config.

        card "PCMCIA 10Mbps Ethernet Card"
        version "PCMCIA", "Ethernet Card"
        bind "pcnet_cs" 

    After you have already added the lines to /etc/pcmcia/config, reboot the
    machine. Also please do not forget to edit /etc/network.opts before reboot.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
