P.S. Problem in the Enhance I/O verification of VERIFIER utility in WinXP.
If you run the Enhance I/O verification in the VERIFIER utility in WinXP by typing from
the Start\Run of command line, to check the Skusbkbf.sys, you will get the NO_MORE_IRP_STACK_LOCATIONS of blue dead screen.
The problem had been confirmed by Microsoft to be as the WinXP design.
That's because our WDM filter driver Skusbkbf.sys was hooked to the system's usbccgp.sys
which is born by usbhub.sys as the USB Generic Parent Driver, the usbccgp.sys
cannot have more than one filter driver to be hooked, but during the Enhance I/O verification testing which will insert its own fake filter driver, plus ours, the total filter drivers hooked are two under the usbccgp.sys, it's over the XP design limitation, so that's the reason why the Skusbkbf.sys is totally okay, but cannot pass the Enhance I/O verification testing.
