Explanation to SAP - devicetypes from TALLY 22.11.2001 ================================================================================== In SAP, see also SAP-notice no: 8928, there are devicetypes for TALLY printer and additional notice no: 0107938 (SAP R/3 devicetypes from the company TALLY). The new devicetypes (should be used for all printers with MTPL-emulation) support barcode and are optimize for SAP : ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "ZTALLYB.pri" (support up to 3 automatic single sheet feeder(bins)) T2x40, T2145, T2245, T2045/T2060, T2055/T2070, T2155/T2170, T2255, T2265, T2280, T3016 SprintJet, T3x10 SprintJet and all following printers "ZTALLYF.pri" (support up to 3 fanfold tractors) T2x40, T2145, T2245, T2045/T2060, T2055/T2070, T2155/T2170, T2255, T2265, T2280, T3016 SprintJet, T3x10 SprintJet, T6045, T6050, T6090, T6091, T6100, T6101, T6140/T6141, T6180, T6215, T6218 and all following printers These devicetypes can print barcode and OCR-A/B fonts. Codepage IS0 8859-1 (with additional grafic-characters spec. for SAP) is used. These devicetypes/drivers are using the ESC-commands of the MTPL-emulation. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
